Residential electrical estimating software
Housewire builds your bid from the plan instead of a spreadsheet. Import the PDF plans, lay out the devices and circuits, and every device, box, plate, breaker, foot of NM-B and staple is counted and priced from your own price list, with your labor units, crew rates, overhead, markup and fees. Change the layout and the bid changes with it.
Bid from the plan
Counts come from what you drew, so nothing gets missed or counted twice.
Your prices

Your labor

How does Housewire price a residential electrical bid?
It counts everything on your layout and prices it from your own price list, imported from a supplier CSV or entered by hand, then adds your labor units, crew rates, overhead, markup, tax and fees, broken out by temp, rough-in, trim and service.
Does it work for duplexes?
Yes. Each unit gets its own takeoff, panel, circuits and load calc, and the bid is shown per unit and combined for the building.
